Mission And Vision

MISSION EWB-GIITS is established as a non-profit Organization, involving students of Gonna Institute of Information Technology and Sciences (GIITS) with special or general skills, as a movement towards constructive change. It is inspired by an urgent concern for accelerating sustainable rural development, assisting in capacity building in backward rural and urban communities of India, protecting the country's natural resource base and working across national boundaries for social and economic justice and responsible use of technology. Each ustainable engineering project is designed and implemented by partnerships among local and international groups, individuals, professionals and students. This organization trains students to be a socially responsible engineers and global citizens.

VISION As part of developing the country, engineers in INDIA have a central role to play in improvising the sufficient and effective utilization of natural resources by creating new projects. EWB-GIITS envisions India where all individuals can meet their self identified human needs and lead lives of opportunity and dignity. Through the implementation of sustainable projects, fostering local awareness, and education.

OBJECTIVES To bring in awareness about technological development among the people. To tap skills, creativity and main budding engineers, and connect the engineering professionals and students around the world To create Sustainable projects that are symbiotic with the environment, society, and culture and build capacity among people to solve their own problems. To developing knowledge to empower communities, and build a culture of active learning and reflection.  To bring in change that can contribute positively to communities , that would provide new solutions over time, and change that can interrupted in solving the problems of poverty.
